1. Acceptance of Terms

By adding Ammonite to your Discord server or using any of its commands, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please remove the bot from your server immediately.

2. Description of Service

Ammonite is a Discord bot that provides moderation, economy, leveling, games, proxy messaging, global chat, ticket support, and configuration management. The bot is provided free of charge and on an "as-is" basis.

3. User Eligibility

• You must comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
• You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use Discord and, by extension, this bot.
• Server administrators are responsible for ensuring the bot is configured appropriately for their community.

4. Acceptable Use

When using Ammonite, you agree not to:

• Violate Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines.
• Exploit bugs or unintended behavior for personal gain or to disrupt service.
• Spam, abuse, or overload the bot's systems or Discord's API.
• Use global chat to harass, impersonate, or distribute harmful content.
• Use the proxy system to evade moderation, impersonate users, or circumvent server rules.
• Use economy/gambling features in violation of local laws.
• Attempt to access or interfere with the bot's data storage or host systems.
• Collect or harvest data about other users without their consent.

5. Economy & Virtual Currency

• All currency, points, and items are virtual and have no real-world monetary value.
• Virtual currency cannot be exchanged for real money, goods, or services.
• The bot owner reserves the right to reset, modify, or remove economy data at any time.
• Gambling features are for entertainment only.

6. Global Chat

• By using global chat, you consent to your messages (with display name and avatar) being visible in other linked servers.
• Relayed messages are marked with a [GC] prefix.
• Server owners and global chat moderators may kick or ban servers for violations.

7. Proxy System

• The proxy system is designed for plural systems, roleplay, and similar legitimate use cases.
• You are solely responsible for content sent through proxy members.
• Using proxied messages to impersonate real people, evade bans, or circumvent moderation is prohibited.
• Server administrators may enable a [proxied] indicator for transparency.

8. Moderation & Enforcement

• Server administrators are responsible for configuring and using moderation features appropriately.
• The bot owner is not responsible for moderation actions taken by server administrators.
• The bot owner reserves the right to blacklist users or servers that abuse the bot or violate these terms.
• Users who receive moderation actions may appeal through the punishment appeal system if enabled.

9. Data & Privacy

Your use is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data is collected, how it's stored, and your rights including the right to delete it via /deletedata.

10. Availability & Disclaimers

• Ammonite is provided "as-is" with no warranties of any kind.
• We do not guarantee 100% uptime or uninterrupted service.
• We are not responsible for any data loss or damages arising from use of the bot.
• Features may be added, modified, or removed at any time without prior notice.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the bot owner and contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Ammonite.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
